Refund Policy – Green Meadow Storage (GMS – Green Meadow, GMS – Wellington, GMS – PaulAnn)

At Green Meadow Storage, we strive to provide clean, secure, and reliable storage solutions. This Refund Policy explains when refunds may or may not be issued for storage unit rentals and related fees.

1. General Refund Policy

Storage rental fees, administrative fees, and lock purchases are generally non-refundable, except in situations outlined below. All refund decisions are made at the discretion of management.

2. Reservation Fees

  • Reservation fees (if applicable) are non-refundable.
  • If a customer cancels a reservation or fails to move in by the scheduled date, the reservation fee will not be returned.

3. Rent Payments

Because storage units are rented on a time-based basis (daily, weekly, or monthly), rent already paid is non-refundable, including:

  • Unused days in the billing period
  • Early move-out
  • Prepaid rent

Refunds are not issued for partial-month occupancy or unused time.

4. Administrative & Setup Fees

Administrative fees charged at move-in (such as onboarding, account setup, or gate access activation) are non-refundable once processed.

5. Lock & Merchandise Sales

All locks, keys, and retail merchandise sales are final and cannot be returned or refunded once opened or removed from packaging.

6. Overpayments & Duplicate Charges

Refunds may be issued for:

  • Accidental duplicate payments
  • Incorrect charges caused by a system or billing error

Refunds will be issued to the original payment method and may take 5–10 business days to process.

7. Credit Card Chargebacks

Customers are required to contact management to attempt resolution before initiating a chargeback with their financial institution. Accounts involved in chargebacks may be locked from future rentals until the dispute is resolved.

8. Auction-Related Fees

Fees associated with lien procedures, advertising, or auctions (pursuant to Texas Property Code §59, if applicable) are non-refundable.

9. Move-Out Requirements

To avoid additional charges:

  • Units must be fully cleared of all items, spills, trash, debris, etc.
  • Locks removed
  • Facility notified of move-out (in person, by phone, or via online system if provided)

Failure to follow proper move-out procedures may result in additional fees, which are non-refundable.
